It's the morning of day 13 and I have lost 10 1/2 pounds on my 30 day juice fast. So what's it like so far? Well, it has truly been easy overall. I drink all the fresh juice I want and the scale has dropped every single day except the morning after I did a light workout. That day it stayed the same because my muscles were slightly swollen. That day I was actually hungry for the first time, which was hard. It's like the workout just made me ravenous. That hasn't happened on the juice fast before.
I plan to try to do some more 30 minute workouts, but if that happens again I won't work out for the last two weeks. You are only supposed to break a light sweat on a juice fast anyway. I just wanted to do some light toning with the rapid weight loss.
I know what you're thinking...I had to cheat sometime, right? Well, in all honesty, in 12 days I have had 2 cashews, 5 pinches of crust off a pork loin, 3 Cheese Doodles Puffs, and 1 banana while I was up all night with my toddler having asthma attacks. My body was just extra drained that night and I had a lot of nausea from my nerves.
I truly have not been hungry. It definitely gets old cooking for 5 other people all the time and watching them eat my favorite foods. It has been sooooo worth it, though. Like I say, I lost weight every day but one, and I feel great.
